Once a document has been generated, authors and reviewers can collaborate in real time and work with the entire document in their familiar user interface, Microsoft Word​, via a seamlessly distributed and installed modern App that uses Microsoft ClickOnce technology.

The platform manages components transparently by maintaining relationships between a document and its components and by tracking parent-child relationships for reused components. All authoring functionality is available from the MS Word interface. The structured content authoring solution uses the same ISO compliant Open XML standard used by Microsoft Word.​

Authors continue to use standard
MS Word to write structured documents
Add new content (text, tables, images) and apply necessary formatting and styles.
Insert variables for convenient reuse of commonly used and managed terms.
Reuse content from previously written related components for another document, with the ability to select the desired reuse policy.
Access and reuse library content from governed library options, such as required or standard text specific to therapeutic areas, with reuse policies set at the library level.
Utilize search functionality to find existing components within the system for potential reuse within the document being authored.

All standard Word functionality is available for authoring, making user adoption easy.
